Hollow-core Slabs and Hollow-core Walls:


Hollow-core elements can be used as floor, roof deck systems, wall panels, shoring & retaining walls, boundary wall spandrel members, bridge deck units etc. which also creates ideal structural section by reducing the dead weight, whilst providing the maximum structural efficiency with the minimum applicable depth.

RAK Precast manufactures Pre-stressed Hollow-core Slabs and Wall panels through slip-forming manufacturing system which is the most advanced technology available in the European market today. The hi-tech machine available at RAK Precast has been tailored to RAK Precast to provide the following types and sizes of slabs and walls:


At RAK Precast the hollow-core slabs are casted in 150m long pre-tensioning beds equipped with automatic concrete pouring machine which places high strength with high degree of vibration and compaction. This bed is also developed with hot water underneath for fast curing and strength, hence the production and delivery commitment is achieved.

We always ensure that our commitments to our Customers are kept as per quality and timely delivery. In order to confirm our commitment, our Quality Control department ensures that all the quality checks are satisfactory and can be released from the production plant. We also perform the final quality check prior to dispatch to reconfirm our commitment on quality.

• Stairs

Precast stairs gives a very safe access to floors during the construction, where it saves time and cost, since the shuttering and scaffolding works are eliminated. The major advantage of precast staircase is the smooth surface finish with high quality durability and does not require any additional finishing layers which are done in cast-in-situ.

As all risers on flights are exactly the same height, precast stairs are therefore much more comfortable to walk on compared to most stairs cast-in-situ. Since all the preparatory and finishing works are done in-house, only erection works are done at site and ready to access immediately upon erection.
